Stefan Tontsch

Born in 1974 as a member of the German minority in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) I emigrated to Germany with my family at the age of three. I studied Mathematics and Computer Science in Göttingen (Germany) and Leeds (UK) and started my career as as software engineer and consultant for companies like Lufthansa and Porsche. Later I helped set up the Deutsche Bahn Yield management system and founded and headed the IC Bus product before changing to FlixBus to become VP Operations. I am happily married, have a wonderful daughter, and together we are living in the heart of Berlin.
